			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Apple  fruit bars are a great choice as desserts for small parties or events. They  rank high in children’s favorite list also. The nutritional value is great and  it is rich in carbohydrates, proteins, fiber and is low in calories. So you can  fix them for your child’s birthday party and enjoy a healthy dessert.</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients</strong><br />
  For bar crust</p>
<ul>
<li>½  cup chopped walnuts and almonds</li>
<li>½ cup oats</li>
<li>1 cup whole  wheat flour</li>
<li>½ cup sugar</li>
<li>½ teaspoon salt</li>
<li>1 egg</li>
<li>2 tablespoon low  fat butter</li>
<li>¼ small spoon  saffron</li>
</ul>
<p>For fruit top</p>
<ul>
<li>4 cups peeled  and diced apples</li>
<li>1 cup diced  strawberries</li>
<li>¼ cup cornstarch</li>
<li>½ cup raisins</li>
<li>¼ cup sugar</li>
<li>¼ orange juice</li>
<li>1 teaspoon honey</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preparation</strong><br />
  For bar crust</p>
<ul>
<li>Mix more than half  of nuts and oats with whole wheat flour, sugar and salt. Beat them well in a  food processor. </li>
<li>Add 1 tablespoon  butter and saffron. Mix and grind well until nuts are finely crushed.</li>
<li>Beat egg and add  remaining butter in another bowl. Add it to the processor and continue to grind  until a crumbly mixture is formed. Now the dough is ready.</li>
<li>Take a medium  sized baking dish and coat it with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 400° F.</li>
</ul>
<p>For Fruit topping</p>
<ul>
<li>Mix apples,  strawberries, half of the raisins, sugar and cornstarch in a pan. Cook for few  minutes on medium heat and stir constantly till mixture is thick. Add orange  juice.</li>
</ul>
<p>Assemble fruit bars</p>
<ul>
<li>Pour the dough  in the prepared baking dish. Spread the dough and firmly press to form an even  crust. Spread the fruit topping over the crust. Sprinkle the remaining raisins  over the top.</li>
<li>Bake the crust  for 10-15 minutes. Then reduce the temp and bake for another 30 minutes till  crust turns light brown.</li>
<li>Let the crust  cool for 2 hours. Cut them into rectangular bars.</li>
</ul>
<p>Place the fruit bars in a serving dish. Pour  honey over the fruit bars before serving.</p>

<li>¼ cup honey</li>
<li>¼ cup date syrup</li>
<li>2 tablespoon  canola oil</li>
<li>Cooking spray</li>

<p>For serving</p>

<li>1 bowl low fat  milk</li>
<li>¼ cup chopped  apples</li>
<li>¼ cup chopped  strawberries</li>

<li>Preheat oven to  300°F</li>
<li>Mix honey, date  syrup and canola oil in a bowl and keep it aside.</li>
<li>Take all the quick  cooking cereals and mix them in a large bowl. Add chopped walnuts and almonds.</li>
<li>Add the honey  mixture to it and stir well.</li>
<li>Coat a roll pan  with cooking spray. Spread the cereal mixture evenly onto the pan.</li>
<li>Bake it for 30  to 35 minutes, while stirring after every 10 minutes.</li>
<li>Remove it and  add raisins. Allow it to cool.</li>
<li>While serving,  mix it with milk and add chopped apples and strawberries. </li>

<li>1 teaspoon  cheddar cheese</li>

<p><strong>Preparation</strong></p>
<ul>

<li>Mix egg and egg  whites in a bowl and beat them. Add salt, pepper and chopped coriander to it  and whisk thoroughly. Keep the egg mixture aside. </li>
<li>Combine beans,  onion, tomato, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese and ketchup in a separate bowl  and mix it. Keep it aside. </li>
<li>Heat a nonstick  pan over medium heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray. </li>
<li>Pour the egg  mixture onto the pan. Allow it to set a little. </li>
<li>Then tilt the  pan carefully and let the mixture spread evenly over the pan. Allow it to cook. </li>
<li>Turn over the  omelet. </li>
<li>Take the bean  onion mixture and spread onto half of the omelet. </li>
<li>Slowly loosen  the other half of the omelet using a spatula and carefully fold it over the  spread bean mixture. </li>
<li>Cook it for 2  minutes on slow heat. </li>
<li>Once cheese  melts, lift the omelet carefully and slide it into the plate. </li>
<li>Make diagonal  cuts to cut it into triangular shape.  </li>
<li>Serve it with  cucumber and carrot rings. </li>
